The real star of this game is the level design. The tempo for the increasing difficulty is just right. A nice touch for having a penalty system to prevent just spamming throwing ice creams. Maybe if i were to offer a mechanic I would add a pity system wherein every time you hit an obstacle you slow down a bit. But regardless, with the right amount of polish you can ship this to the playstore and you might get a flappy bird hit.

Hey it was a lot of fun! It felt good, but you have to be careful with the screen shake. I personally don't mind, but I know some people do. It was a cool game!

Like the art style, and enjoyed my playthrough. Although it was a little annoying that is paused the game if I accidentally clicked off screen.

Hm, that’s good to know, I got used to keeping my mouse near the truck while developing the game so I didn’t realize making the game pause when you clicked outside was an issue. Thanks!

Really good game and design. Very impressive how this only took you 48 hours to make. Although while playing the game it felt like something was missing. When you play, you either focus on getting ice cream to people or try to dodge the obstacles on the road. There was a point and time where I was not giving out any ice cream because I did not feel that sense of importance. If you were to add like a time limit that forces the player to give out ice cream before this certain runs out, I think it will give the player a better sense of urgency of giving out ice cream. How I described it was not the best but I hope you kind of get what I mean.

Yeah I get what you mean – when things start speeding up, it’s easy to get fixated on dodging and forget about the ice cream. A countdown timer that goes up by a few seconds every time you hit a person with ice cream could work, and I also thought about making the truck more sluggish/harder to move the longer you stay without shooting any ice cream.

This was made mostly as a one-off challenge to myself so I don’t think I’ll go back to it, but it’s definitely a lesson for the future. Thanks again!

I second itsohclay. I really liked the feeling initially of getting every single customer while dodging stuff, would've been nice if accuracy was rewarded. Aside from that, this played really well, the controls/movement/shooting feel pretty good. Only crappy thing is clicking outside the game, but probably not much you can do about that. I appreciate the effort put into making it browser playable.
